Ever wondered what would happen if your kayak was found floating off shore? What if in a real rescue situation your kayak was abandoned?
We all hope that we never end up in these situations and the chances are your boat will be rescued along with you, BUT one of the major issues, especially for the rescue teams is identifying kayaks – wether it be in a real rescue situation or simply a kayak that’s drifted with the tide/down a river.
We developed the SEA.tag to help identify lost/stolen kayaks in an effort to save time, lives and kayaks. It’s a sticker printed on marine grade vinyl, designed to be placed within the hatch or cockpit of your kayak – somewhere easy to access.
Personal details, along with a VHF Call Sign and an on shore contact’s name and phone number can be added with a permanent marker. Full application instructions included.
